HOW MUCH DO LESSONS COST AT TOONGABBIE PHYSIE?
$10 per lesson


WHAT DO YOU ACTUALLY DO IN CLASS?
Your child will be taught the syllabus which has been choreographed specifically for each age group. We also incorporate fun activities for the girls to assist in building skills that relate to dance and physical activity.


HOW MANY STUDENTS ARE IN A CLASS?
It is dependent on the number of girls in that age group, usually between 5 to 20 students.  


CAN I TRY PHYSIE BEFORE COMMITTING TO JOIN?
Yes! We offer one free lesson as a trial.

IS THERE A PRESENTATION NIGHT?

Yes! A presentation night is held at the end of the year for all the girls and women to celebrate their achievements.

It begins with a party for the junior girls to have fun with their friends. 

WHAT DO I WEAR TO LESSONS?

Wear a leotard or tight clothing each week in class to ensure that the teachers can see correct posture and so the girls can comfortably complete floor work. 

HOW ARE CLASSES SORTED?

Classes are based on ages. This is decided by your age as of the 31st of August for the respective year. Your teachers will help you with this.

WHAT TYPE OF PHYSIE COMPETITIONS ARE THERE AND DO I HAVE TO COMPETE?

All competitions are optional. 

Interclubs: Are small competitions between a handful of clubs. This is an opportunity for girls and women to gain experience in competitions and is a great way to build confidence. 

Champion Girl/Lady: Is a Zone Competition with girls/ladies competing in their respective zone. The girls/ladies that are fortunate enough to be presented with a prize at this competition will have the opportunity to compete at the BjP National competition.

Senior Champion Girl: This is similar to the above competition, however the girls that are finalists, compete at the Senior National Finals held at the Sydney Opera House. 

Nationals: This competition where girls/ladies that were presented with a prize at their zone come together to compete at BjP Nationals in their respective age groups. 

 

Teams: Teams is a competition where the girls will be combined within their own club and age group to compete against other clubs.

Club competitions: This is a fun competition that is held within the club to display our progress throughout the year and an opportunity to build more confidence.
